We kicked off our partnership with General Assembly last month by hosting “Blockchain 101”, a panel-formatted introduction to blockchain technology. With over 180 people registered for the event, the evening was a great success. In planning our next blockchain education event, one of the most requested topics is cryptocurrencies, currently one of the most visible applications of blockchain technology. How is one cryptocurrency different from another? How is the value of a cryptocurrency determined? How do I purchase a cryptocurrency?
Based on this feedback we’re proud to announce our second blockchain education event, A Beginner’s Guide to Crypto Trading, which will be held on December 5 from 6:30 - 8:30pm at General Assembly’s Boston Campus. This free workshop (limited to the first 40 people who RSVP) will help attendees understand what cryptocurrencies are, how they can be stored and used for transactions on the blockchain, how to start trading, and the risks associated with investing and trading cryptocurrencies.

The workshop will be run by Igor Baldyga, Lead Blockchain Strategist at Esprezzo and Founder of Block Magic Strategies, a Blockchain Advisory and Consultancy practice. Far too often beginners enter crypto markets without a grasp of the basics resulting in expensive mistakes. This workshop will teach you the best practices you’ll need to enter the world of crypto trading with confidence.
