2022 was a tumultuous year for Web3, as it was for many other industries. Despite that, we saw many established brands enter the Web3 space. Nike is consistently exploring the edge of new digital technologies, and they continue to be a leader in the Web3 space. Last year they were joined by a plethora of other brands and projects across multiple industries — Lamborghini, Disney, Starbucks and Rimowa, just to name a few. Here’s a look at some of the brands and companies that ventured into Web3 in 2022.

Over 3,000 DeFi and NFT builders and fans showed up to celebrate the growth of Web3 at DCentral, a two day conference in Downtown Miami. Despite the bear market, the event carried a positive sentiment. Although there were fewer attendees compared to years prior, we witnessed more diverse voices even more passionate and focused on creating real value and  achieving Web3 mass adoption. 

With the global NFT market projected to reach $97.6 billion by 2028 and new NFT projects being announced daily, NFTs are here to stay. And we can expect them to continue evolving as creators and brands explore new experiences and utilities NFTs can unlock. NFTs have taken the world by storm — from shareable digital collectibles on Meta and Instagram, loyalty memberships at Starbucks, to an explosion of NFT-based fantasy sports games and platforms. This Dispatch integration enables you to get Pangolin DEX alerts so you don’t have to worry about missing new projects as soon as they come online.

We are thrilled to announce that Dispatch will soon support Polygon! This integration means that in addition to Ethereum and Avalanche, Dispatch beta users will be able to get real-time market alerts and data from the Polygon ecosystem.

A line of demarcation has been forming in the world of cryptocurrency. On one side, speculators and gamblers play the markets only for profit. The tone of their social media posts fluctuates, jubilant when prices soar and fearful when they fall. On the other side is a group of technologists, entrepreneurs, and pragmatic believers. They recognize that while a financial renaissance may be within reach, it won’t be achieved without a sustained and collective effort for years to come. The second group is the one that showed up in droves this weekend.
